Add a New Contact

Adding a new contact gives you a central place to organize a new lead, prospect, or client from the very beginning. By entering their contact information, lead classification, property preferences, and important notes, you can keep everything you need for follow-up and relationship management together in AGENTVIEW.


Open the New Contact Form

From the left navigation menu, click Contacts.

   On the Contacts page, click Add Contact to open the New Contact form.


Classify the Contact

Select the required Lead Source, then choose the Contact Status and Contact Type that best describe the contact.

   Enter Referred By and Brokerage information when applicable.


Enter Contact Details

Enter the primary contact’s first and last name. These fields are required when creating a new contact.

   You can also enter a secondary contact, home and mobile phone numbers, email address, and the primary contact’s birthday.


Add Home Information and Property Preferences

Enter the contact’s current or mailing address when available.

   Add the contact’s desired price range, property type, square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, and other property preferences when applicable.

   If the contact is interested in multiple cities or states, separate each location with a comma.


Add Additional Information

Use this section to capture other details that may help you better understand and manage the contact.

   Indicate whether the contact is currently under contract with another real estate agent and whether they have been pre-approved for financing.

   Use Additional Notes to record any other information that may be helpful for future conversations and follow-up.

Create the Contact

Review the information you entered, then click Create Contact at the top or bottom of the form.

   Before the contact is created, AGENTVIEW will ask you to confirm the contact’s communication permission.

   Complete the confirmation to create the contact profile.

Why Contact Classification Matters

Accurate Lead Source, Contact Status, and Contact Type selections help AGENTVIEW keep your database organized and your contacts properly categorized.

   These selections also support reporting, filtering, Smart Tabs, campaign targeting, and follow-up throughout the CRM.
